PRIVACY POLICY pursuant to art. 13 Law Decree 30 June 2003, no. 196
(Code on personal data protection)


With this notice, Uniform S.p.A., with registered office in Minerbe – Viale Agricoltura 35  (hereinafter referred to as “Uniform”). intends to inform users visiting this website (hereinafter the “Site“) on the policy implemented concerning protection of personal data, underlining its commitment and attention with regards to protecting the privacy of its customers and visitors of the Site.
Browsing the Site is free and does not require any registration, with the exception of certain areas where the user may freely and explicitly provide some data concerning them to access specifically identified data. Therefore, where the visitor should intend to provide their personal data to access these additional services, they shall be expressly informed pursuant to art. 13 of Law Decree 30 June 2003, no. 196, Code on protection of personal data, with indication (by way of example) of the aims and methods of use of data by Uniform, as well as the right to request at any time cancellation or updating of the data.


Information on personal data protection

Pursuant to and by effect of Legislative Decree no.196/2003 (Code on protection of personal data) (hereinafter the “Code”), Uniform provides the following information.


  1. The Controller and Person in Charge of Processing

The Controller of personal data processing is Uniform S.p.A., with registered office in Minerbe (VR), Viale Agricoltura , Tax ID/VAT   company register number   The Persons in Charge of Processing, with regards to Site management, are the Marketing and ICT Managers, each for their own competencies. You may obtain the complete list of Persons in Charge of Data Processing by sending a request to the addresses set out under point 8.


  1. Type of personal data handled

No registration is required to access the Site. However, there are sections within the Site that require registration or the use of username and password, or services for the use of which it is required to provide one’s data (e.g. your data may be required to access the Newsletter service, Contact Form, Restricted Area, etc.).

Should Uniform acquire information and personal data, they shall first inform users, pursuant to art.13 of the Code, on the aims for which these data are required and on the methods they will be used with. Where required Uniform shall acquire the specific consent by the user on the relevant use of the data. By way of example, personal data may be required such as name and surname, telephone number, e-mail address and other information that the user accepts to provide to use the services of the Site by filling in a specific registration form. Uniform shall use the personal data collected on-line for the sole purposes indicated upon registration.

The data relating to connection and browsing the Site (such as URI-Uniform Resource Identifier notation addresses of the resources requested, time of request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server’s response (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters regarding the user’s operating system and computer environment) are collected for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on Site use and to check its correct operation and are deleted immediately after processing. The data might be used to ascertain responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the Site: excluding this possibility, the data will be deleted after the time for the delivery of the services described in the Site has elapsed.

  1. Optional provision of personal data

The provision of Personal Data is in general of optional nature. Only in certain cases failure to provide the data may involve impossibility to access specific services and obtain what has been requested (e.g. Request for Contact, Newsletter, Restricted Areas).


  1. Method of data processing and scope of communication

The data may be handled both on electronic media or paper. Uniform guarantees the lawful and correct processing of the personal data provided through the Site, in full compliance with current regulations, as well as the utmost confidentiality of the data provided during registration. The data shall not be communicated or disclosed to third parties except within the limits and under the conditions explicitly indicated in the information from time to time provided to the user and after their authorisation.

This information is provided only for the Site and not for any other websites browsed by the user via links. Uniform cannot be held liable for the personal data provided by the users to external entities or any Websites connected to this Site.


  1. “Profiling” and/or customisation instruments



Uniform does not perform any promotional and/or advertising communication activity without prior consent expressed by the user.

The Site uses “Cookies”: cookies are short text files (letters and/or digits) that allow the web server to store on the client (the user’s internet browser) information to be reused during the website visit (session cookies) or later, even after several days (persistent cookies). The cookies are stored based on the user’s preferences, by the individual browser on the specific device used (computer, tablet, smartphone).

Cookies do not collect information directly identifying the user. In fact Uniform may not through the cookies trace any personal information directly identifying (e.g. name and surname) unless directly provided by the user. Furthermore, another website cannot use a cookie issued by the Site to access other information contained in the user’s computer. After saving in the computer, the cookie may only be read by the website that has created it (hence, in our case, by this Site).

What type of cookies are used by the Site:

Technical cookies.
These cookies are indispensable for proper operation of sites and may be session ones (temporary) or persistent (with duration defined based on the site’s use requirements).
The duration of session cookies is strictly limited to the period of website browsing (after closing the browser these cookies are deleted).
The Website uses technical cookies to aid the user’s browsing within the Site, for instance remembering the data provided by the user in filling in forms on the Site (so-called user input cookies), to recognise the user after they have logged in the Site (so-called authentication cookies), to customise the site’s interface on the basis of the preferences indicated by the user, to correctly display videos and images (flash cookies).
Some of the technical cookies are also persistent (for instance to manage login and access to the site’s restricted functions). These cookies may last longer (expiry up to 30 days) and are used to recognise, for this limited period,the visitor’s computer (in order, for instance, to make their access to the restricted area easier). Disabling them affects the use of services accessible in the restricted area. The public part of the website remains however accessible.
This website also uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google. This service uses cookies to allow the website to analyse how users browse its pages. The information generated by the cookie will be transmitted to Google which will use them to analyse website use in an aggregated and anonymous form. Google may in its turn transmit this information to third parties where provided.
Technical cookies do not require acquisition of a preventative and explicit consent by the user since they are strictly necessary to provide the service required by the Site user (pursuant to art. 122, sub-paragraph 1, of the Code).



Profiling cookies
These are persistent cookies used to identify (anonymously or not) user preferences, improve their browsing experience, even providing variable content, related to their browsing experience on line. This site does not use profiling cookies.

No other user profiling tools are used in this Site (e.g. spyware).
Furthermore if the user should register on the Site and provide when registering their specific consent to monitoring their browsing, the browsing data within the Site may be associated with their personal data.


6.1 Information on the cookies issued by the Site

From a technical point of view the cookies (transmitted by this domain) contain the following information: an ID number that uniquely identifies Uniform and an ID number that identifies the user (who browses within the Site), both stored within our database; an ID number that uniquely identifies browsing (so-called “record”) of the user within our data base; a pseudo-casual session alphanumerical ID automatically deleted by the browser when it is closed (session cookie).
4) Validity of the cookies: the Site uses session cookies (i.e. cookies that are automatically deleted when the browser is closed), s well as permanent cookies (i.e. cookies that are stored until they might be deleted by the user), whose duration does not in any case exceed six months.
5) Need to accept the cookies: accepting the cookies is not compulsory but disabling them, although still making browsing the Site possible, might make it impossible to release certain contents and features of the Site. The user is in fact free to decide whether to accept the cookies or not by setting their internet browser, limiting or blocking cookies. 6.2 Social Buttons and third party Cookies

Social Buttons are the buttons on the site that depict social network icons (e.g., Facebook and Twitter) and allow users that are browsing to interact with one “click” directly with the social networks.

The processing connected to the services provided by the Site is carried out at the premises of Uniform indicated in point 1 above and is carried out by the persons in charge of processing of Marketing and ICT Management, each for their own competencies.

Pursuant to art. 7 of the Code you have the right to obtain from the Person in Charge information on the processing of your data, including,  1) obtain, without delay, the confirmation of the existence of personal data concerning you […]; 2) to obtain: a) indication on the origin of personal data, the purposes and methods of treatment, the logic of the treatment carried out with the aid of electronic instruments, the identity of the controller or persons responsible, entities or categories of entities to whom the data may be disclosed or who may become aware of them as managers or agents; updating, rectification or, if interested, integration of data; b) cancellation, anonymisation or blocking of data processed in breach of the law; 3) object, in whole or in part, to the processing of personal data concerning them, for purposes of commercial information or sending advertising materials or direct sales or for carrying out market research or commercial communication.

  1. Applicable law

This Privacy Policy is regulated by the Italian law and specifically by the Code, which governs the processing of personal data – also held overseas – carried out by anyone who is established in Italy or through instruments located in Italy. The Code ensures that the processing of personal data is carried out respecting fundamental rights and freedoms, as well as the dignity of the person concerned, with particular reference to privacy, personal identity and the right to protection of personal data.

Uniform reserves the right to revise, modify or simply update, in whole or in part, at its sole discretion, in any way and/or at any time, without prior notice, this Privacy Policy also in consideration of changes in laws or regulations regarding the protection of personal data. Changes and updates to the Privacy Policy shall be notified to users on the Home Page of the Site as soon as implemented and shall be binding as soon as they are posted on the Site in this section. Please therefore regularly access this section to verify the publication of the most recent and updated Privacy Policy.
